Aileen Slevin
Aileen Slevin is a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Musculoskeletal Medicine. Aileen graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc in Physiotherapy and completed a MSc Sports Physio in University College Dublin in 2016. Aileen is the Lead Physio at The Physio Place and opened the clinic in August 2019.
Aileen has extensive experience in Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine having worked in the public health sector with the HSE from 2006-2016, in the private sector in private physio practice, and with numerous sport teams. In the HSE she worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in Rheumatology, working in the North-West Rheumatology Unit. She relocated to Dublin and took up the post of Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, working in a highly respected Specialist Physiotherapy Clinic. She has worked with numerous GAA teams throughout her career, in her native Tyrone, Sligo and she is currently the physio for Na Fianna Senior Ladies Football team.
Yoga, Pilates and GAA are longstanding interests of Aileen’s and these interests carry through to her professional physio practice. Aileen is a qualified and experienced Clinical Pilates Instructor (Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute) and a qualified Yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance). Aileen also brings her skills of Western Medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling to the clinic having qualified from Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (UK) in 2013. Combining a long-established yoga practice with an intricate knowledge of GAA injury screening, management and rehabilitation Aileen is developing YoGAA. A yoga class specifically targeting injury prevention in GAA players.
Patrick Mc Greal

Patrick Mc Greal
Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Patrick is a highly experienced chartered physiotherapist specializing in Musculoskeletal and Sports
medicine. Patrick joined The Physio Place in September 2022. He qualified from University of Limerick
with 1 st Class Honors in Physiotherapy in 2013 and completed a Masters in Medical Device Innovation in
2022 from the Standford-Affiliated BioInnovate program in the University of Galway.
Patrick spent 5 years working in private healthcare clinics in New Zealand and Australia while also
working in elite sport with Auckland Rugby Union and the Melbourne Rebels. On returning to Ireland
Patrick became Senior Outpatients Physiotherapist at the Bon Secours Tralee where he gained
comprehensive experience in conservative and post-operative rehabilitation of hip, knee, and shoulder
conditions.
Patrick is passionate about developing his physiotherapy skills and has completed considerable post-
graduate study to expand his treatment approach. Between 2015 and 2016 he completed a
Postgraduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from the New Zealand Manipulative
Physiotherapy Association. He also has completed courses including Dry Needling, Physiotherapy
Strength and Conditioning and Pilates.
Patrick is extremely passionate about helping people understand their injury or condition, ease their
pain, improve their lifestyle, and achieve their activity goals. He uses a range of hands-on and
rehabilitation techniques he has developed over the past decade to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Patrick has a strong sporting background, having played football, soccer, and golf at various levels in his
native Mayo. He has recently branched out into the world of running having completed his first
marathon and ultra-marathon in 2021.
